TWO BIRTHDAYS!!!

A somewhat bashful Hugh Maher was quite surprised when a birthday cake came along for him.
However, like all men, he wasn't revealing his age!

Presenting the cake here was Alice Kiersey, the centre manager.

"Hugh's Lucky Day", said Terry!

"Same, sez I" said Ann Richardson!!!

A birthday cake for volunteer musician/singer, Mikey Sullivan also,
but Mikey wasn't revealing  his age either!

Present also for the Wednesday session was Mick Hearne,
always good for a romantic song, or two, or more!

. . . and then Kevin, a well known entertainer from not-too-far-away arrived
on his way to a computer training session
and delivered another beautiful romantic song!

Tony Coffey, nationally-known actor from
BACHELORS IN TROUBLE,
who with his colleague, Seán Murphy,

as they have been doing for past few years!

BACHELORS IN TROUBLE,
Tony Coffey and the above-mentioned, Seán Murphy,

Gerry Walsh,
still another local professional,
who delivered a selection of popular seasonal songs and carols.
Gerry is a regular volunteer entertainer at the Wednesday sessions.

Mick Hearne,
a former guardian of the law,

Regular musician/singer at the Wednesday sessions - Mikey O'Sullivan.
Mikey provided some music for dancing and sing-along songs.

NEW ENTERTAINER

A special welcome to
MIKEY SULLIVAN,
a recent new entertainer at our
Wednesday music sessions,
when he's not entertaining down in Cork city.
In addition to playing many great polkas and other traditional tunes,
Mikey has quite a repertoire of  'sing along' songs.
