THE NEW YEAR

The Centre  re-opened on Tuesday 7th of January and members were delighted to be back where  they enjoyed a chat, lunch and a game of Bingo.
New members to the Centre will be most welcome. The membership fee for the year is €10. We open Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday every week, and lunch is available for €7 per day. A  take-away service is also available, which is €5.
The centre is a great place for the elderly of the community to come, as it is a very warm environment and great place to meet new people, and for those who would like to get out of the house.
We also have various activities during the week. Darren Loftus comes on Wednesday 11.30 to 12.30 to do exercise, and we have music by Kevin Nolan on a Wednesday afternoon.  Flower arranging classes will be starting up again soon. Over the year we also go on outings.
We would like to thank Mary Butler for organising the Carol Singing over Christmas, and everyone who gave their time to come out and sing, and for all the money donated.
A Happy New Year for 2014 to everyone!
Any enquires to the centre, please call (051) 387111
